Miz Jackie’s Baked Chicken A La Surprize

This dish is very easy to make and you will not have any left overs. It only takes 1 hour 15 minutes. It’s very good for Parties, Holidays or when unexpected guest arrive. It’s pretty as well as loaded with lots of flavor, your guest will be well pleased.

Ingredients
  1. 4-5 Chickens or Hens (fresh or frozen)
  2. 2 of each Red, Yellow, Green Sweet Peppers (cut the long way)
  3. 8 Small Red Potatoes
  4. 8 Small White Potatoes
  5. Pepper to Taste
  6. 2 Sprinkles of Old Bay Season all over Vegetables (I use no salt)
  7. 2 tsp of Butter
  8. 1 Bag of Crinkle Cut Carrots or 1 Bunch of Carrots cut the long way
Instructions
  1. Bake the chicken in a large pan, In Bags in different flavors (examples: lemon pepper, BBQ, honey BBQ and regular baked) until very tender.
  2. Once done, remove the bag... place them sitting up to be covered with the left over broth, season and vegetables.
  3. Then cut up red, green, yellow sweet peppers, sweet potato's, with the small red & white potato's or you can buy these items already cut up the long way.
  4. Add butter, old bay season to taste.
  5. Add just a little Italian season across the top for garnish.
  6. It's done, that easy and it's so pretty. The surprise is you have 4-5 chickens hidden in pan 🙂
  7. I cooked this dish for our group and it went over very well. They loved it.
